PeaceHealth Appoints Highly Experienced Leaders to Board of Directors: New Chair and Members Bring Wealth of Expertise

Recently, Vancouver-based organization PeaceHealth has made some key appointments to its Board of Directors. Carol Aaron has been named the new chair of the board, succeeding Karl Carrier who served in the position for over eight years before stepping down. Aaron, who joined the board in January 2021, has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She retired in 2019 after holding the position of executive vice president and chief administrative officer at PeaceHealth. Prior to her time at PeaceHealth, Aaron also held executive leadership roles at St. Joseph Health System and Sutter Health.

In addition to Aaron, PeaceHealth has also welcomed Dr. Ione Adams and Lorraine Arvin to the board. Adams has been serving as the chair for the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Community Health Board in Bellingham since 2020. She recently retired from practicing family medicine and serving as the medical director of Sea Mar Community Health Center, a position she had held since 1989. Arvin is a seasoned chief financial officer with a strong background in aligning financial strategies with organizational goals.
