Plastic Molding Technology Welcomes New CEO

Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) has recently appointed John Duke as its new CEO. Duke, with nearly 30 years of experience in the manufacturing sector and a background in senior management positions at Corning, brings valuable expertise in managing global manufacturing facilities and driving innovation in various sectors including industrial, automotive, consumer electronics, and life sciences.

Duke holds a BS in materials science and engineering from the University of Utah and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He expressed his enthusiasm for leading PMT into a new chapter, emphasizing the importance of exceptional customer experience, operational improvements, and product-led growth. Duke aims to leverage PMT’s strengths to help customers achieve their growth targets by delivering top-notch products and services.

Founded in 1973 by Charles E. Sholtis in El Paso, TX, PMT was acquired by Tide Rock Holdings in January 2022. Tide Rock Holdings rebranded its plastics manufacturing portfolio in April of that year, consolidating companies like Plastics Design & Manufacturing, Pikes Peak Plastics, and Altratek Plastics under the Plastic Molding Technology banner.
