The UT Health San Antonio Police Department will be conducting a law enforcement training exercise at the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center on Saturday, June 8, from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic is located at 5788 Eckhert Road in San Antonio. During the training session, there will be an increased police presence in and around the clinic, which may include police vehicles, uniformed officers and officers in tactical equipment.
Members of the community are encouraged to understand that this training is necessary for the UT Health San Antonio Police Department to prepare its officers to better protect the university community and larger San Antonio Medical Center area. The department thanks members of the community for their support during this time.
