Pricing Safety: The Controversial Debate Over Implementing Entrance Fees for Fencing in Communities.

Opinion: Implement Technology and Fencing to Manage Entrances

Unfortunately, fencing has become a growing problem in our community. One potential solution could be to implement a one-time fee at the entrance, which can be paid at a debit/credit kiosk. This fee could be refundable after a day or two. Charging $3-$5 per entrance could deter those who don’t have a credit card or prefer not to be identified.

To ensure added security, a small camera could take a one-time picture at each entrance or transaction. This would provide additional assurance and recognition. With names recorded for each entrance and a picture taken, there would be proof of who was there. In the event of a stolen credit card, there would be a picture of the scammer in action.

It is unfortunate that we have to implement restrictions like this for those just wanting to spend time with their kids. However, it is important to prioritize safety and security for everyone involved. Hopefully, as the country turns around, things will improve and we can find alternative solutions that do not require such measures. These are just my thoughts on the matter.
