Putin Reiterates Need for Dialogue and Equality in Quest for Multipolar World

Vladimir Putin, after being inaugurated for a fifth term as the President of Russia, emphasized the importance of dialogue with Western countries on matters of security and strategic stability. He reiterated his commitment to shaping a multipolar world and a system of equitable security.

Putin made it clear that any dialogue with the West must be based on equal conditions and respect for each other’s interests. He highlighted the need for Russia to be self-sufficient and competitive, with a strong sociopolitical system that can withstand any challenges.

Security was also a top priority for Putin, who recognized that the military campaign in Ukraine was an issue that needed to be addressed during his fifth term. In response to Western threats and provocations, Putin ordered the Russian Armed Forces to carry out maneuvers with tactical nuclear weapons in the Southern Military District, which includes the Ukrainian territories annexed by Moscow. He also summoned the ambassadors of France and the United Kingdom over statements regarding possible NATO troop deployments in Ukraine and Kiev’s right to attack Russian targets with Western weapons.
