Rangers Celebrate First World Series Win with Championship Rings and Emotional Moments.

Rangers awarded 2023 World Series rings in pregame celebration

The Texas Rangers celebrated their first World Series win by handing out championship rings before their game against the Chicago Cubs in Arlington, Texas. About 60 members of the organization received rings to commemorate their victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks last fall.

During a team dinner, baseball executive Chris Young revealed the design of the rings. The rings, made by Jason of Beverly Hills, feature blue sapphires, red rubies, and diamonds that form the Rangers’ “T” logo and tell the story of their championship season. There are 103 blue sapphires to represent the team’s total wins in the regular season and playoffs, as well as a piece of leather from a baseball used in the World Series.

Players like Marcus Semien expressed emotion upon seeing their rings, acknowledging the hard work that went into their championship season. Manager Bruce Bochy, with four World Series rings now, joked about trying to wear them all at once. The Rangers organization considers their new rings as the new standard in championship jewelry.
