On Tuesday, a young man was admitted to Sharon Hospital with symptoms of fever, headache, and vomiting. Dr. Aina Dvir, a senior physician in the neurosurgical intensive care unit at Bilinson explained that treatment was administered promptly using various medications thanks to the quick diagnosis by Dr. Tamar Gutesman. The Ministry of Health reported that this disease has a high mortality rate and has only been reported in 400 cases worldwide so far.
