Record-Breaking Coach Jordan Fee Announces Resignation from Gannon University Men’s Basketball Team after Historic Season

Jordan Fee, Gannon University’s men’s basketball coach, to depart after one year

Jordan Fee, the head men’s basketball coach at Gannon University, has announced his resignation after a successful first season with the team. During his tenure at Gannon, Fee led the team to a 32-3 record, which was a program record for single-season wins. The team also won the Atlantic Regional Championship before reaching the NCAA Division II quarterfinals. This remarkable turnaround came after the team had a 3-23 record in the previous season, making it the largest year-to-year improvement in NCAA men’s or women’s basketball.

Fee, a native of Grove City, did not disclose whether he had accepted a new coaching position at the time of his resignation. The university cited his desire to pursue the next step in his coaching career as his reason for leaving.

Fee’s Golden Knights were known for their deep bench and fast-paced style of play. They ranked second in the country in points per game and secured a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference regular season championship, a PSAC tournament championship, and Gannon’s highest-ever National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) ranking.

The departure of Jordan Fee marks the beginning of a search for a new head men’s basketball coach at Gannon University. Despite his resignation, Fee expressed pride in the program’s progress under his leadership.
