On Thursday, May 2, the University of Utah will celebrate its 155th general commencement, recognizing graduates from Fall 2023 and Spring and Summer 2024 who have earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees. A total of 118 current or former student-athletes will be among those receiving their diplomas.
Utah’s student-athletes have a high graduation rate, with a 94-percent figure in the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This rate marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah has scored 93-percent or higher, ranking second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford. The success of Utah’s student-athletes is not limited to academics as they also excel in their respective sports programs.
