The Center for Brain Health is designed to provide innovative expert care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias, movement disorders, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and other health concerns. In addition to providing cutting-edge medical care, the facility will serve as an educational site for medical residents and postgraduate trainees.

Designed by Alamo Architects Inc. and TreanorHL, the five-level building will contain 75 exam rooms, 50 faculty offices, a 12-chair non-oncology infusion center, an outpatient pharmacy, and space for leading research and clinical trials. Joeris General Contractors, Ltd. is the builder for this project.

Overall, the Center for Brain Health aims to provide advanced medical care, research opportunities, and educational resources for both patients and medical professionals. With its state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated staff, the center is expected to make a significant impact on the field of brain health and contribute to the overall mission of UT Health San Antonio.
