Rhea Ripley Forced to Vacate Women’s World Championship Due to Backstage Brawl: Promises Stronger Comeback

Rhea Ripley Forced to Relinquish WWE Women’s World Championship Title Following Injury

On last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley had to relinquish her WWE Women’s World Championship after suffering a shoulder injury during a backstage brawl with Liv Morgan. Despite initial reports that the injury was caused by a chair shot from Liv, it was later confirmed that the move did not lead to the injury.

Rhea Ripley announced on the April 15th episode of WWE Raw that she will be out of action for a while and had to vacate the Women’s World Championship. She expressed her disappointment at having to end her reign prematurely and promised to come back stronger than ever.

Rhea Ripley won the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 39 in April 2023 by defeating Charlotte Flair in a classic match. She recently defended her title successfully against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40 and had the crowd in awe with her performance at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. MMA Knockout wishes Rhea Ripley a speedy recovery.
