RNC Preparations: Milwaukee Businesses Gear Up for the Influx of Visitors with Coffee and Conversation Events

Milwaukee Host Committee Offers ‘Coffee and Conversations’ for Businesses Impacted by RNC Security Restrictions

In preparation for the upcoming Republican National Convention, Milwaukee businesses are readying to welcome fifty thousand visitors. The city and Fiserv Forum are actively preparing, and there is a lot of anticipation about how to handle operations during this time. To address the concerns of business owners, the Secret Service and Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee hosted a Coffee and Conversation event on Monday.

The event aimed to provide answers to questions and address any concerns that businesses may have if they were located in the security zone surrounding the RNC. Alison Prange, COO of the Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee emphasized the importance of reaching out to them for assistance. She mentioned that the Secret Service is working to help businesses make deliveries into restricted access areas during the convention, and more security information will be released by the Secret Service in June for businesses in the impacted security zone.

To get more information and have their questions answered, businesses are encouraged to attend two upcoming Coffee and Conversation events. The first event will take place on Monday, May 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at 600 E Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee WI 53202, while the second will take place on Monday, May 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Milwaukee Public Market – 2nd Floor, 400 N Water St, Milwaukee WI 53202
