A car crash occurred on Layton Avenue in Georgetown early Thursday morning when a vehicle collided with a business. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after 8 a.m. and discovered that the vehicle had crashed into the building. The occupants of the vehicle and a person inside the business received medical attention from emergency crews. Both the driver and the individual inside the building sustained serious injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. The Georgetown Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
