Shakira Unveils Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour at Coachella Surprise Performance – Entertainment & Arts Update

Shakira recently took the stage at Coachella 2024 to announce her upcoming world tour. The Colombian singer appeared during Argentinian DJ Bizarrap’s set to perform their new track, La Fuerte. In an extravagant moment, the backdrop switched to reveal the name of her tour: “Shakira, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.” This will mark her first tour since 2018.

Shakira’s latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, was released last month and is her 12th studio album after a seven-year hiatus. The album captures Shakira’s journey from heartbreak to rejuvenation, partly inspired by her breakup with former Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique. The singer hinted at the announcement through an Instagram post the day before, teasing her fans with the translation of “The wolf is coming.”

Coachella, which is occurring over two weekends, features a lineup with top artists like Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and a No Doubt reunion with Gwen Stefani. The festival, held in the Colorado Desert, will also showcase performances from London rock band Blur and South Korean DJ and singer Peggy Gou. Shakira expressed her excitement for the upcoming tour and the opportunity to celebrate with her fans.
