Sierra Vista students triumph at Science Olympiad

For the third year in a row, a team of students from Sierra Vista Middle School have emerged victorious at the state Science Olympiad Championship Tournament. This impressive achievement has earned them the prestigious title of Southern California Science Olympiad Champions.

The competition was fierce, with teams from all over the state gathering at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena to compete in various science, technology, and engineering events. The Sierra Vista team worked tirelessly to prepare for the tournament and managed to come out on top once again.

In the high school division, teams from Northwood and University High Schools placed second and third, respectively. This shows just how strong the competition was that the Sierra Vista team faced in order to secure their victory.

The Sierra Vista team consists of 19 students who are now ready to move on to compete in the Science Olympiad National Tournament, which will be held this month at Michigan State University. This event will bring together the best teams from across the country, and the Sierra Vista team is eager to represent California and defend their title.
