Top Performers of Week 10 in Memphis Area High School Spring Sports

This week, Memphis area high schools showcased some impressive performances in their spring sports. In baseball, Caleb Lassiter of Briarcrest got the save in a 3-2 Game 1 win over CBHS. Aidan McCrady was the winning pitcher, while Ty Holman of CBHS allowed only two hits in six innings. Hank Stalnaker had two hits for CBHS. Meanwhile, Taylor Brady and Carter Lamb contributed to Briarcrest’s 4-3 Game 2 win over CBHS, with Caleb Lassiter getting another save.

In softball, Breleigh Bunker of Arlington had a standout game, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored in a 10-5 victory over Collierville. Brittanie Layton was the winning pitcher for Arlington. Grace Pentecost also had a big game, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Aliya Garcia of Brighton had two hits in a 3-2 win over Munford, while Laney Lawson pitched a complete game. Adin Shelton of Brighton hit a home run. Bradleigh Biggs of ECS was 2-for-4 with three runs scored in a 16-6 win over Trinity Christian Academy, while Lily Beth Carpenter scored three runs. Robin Daughhetee had four RBIs, Julianna Lewis had a home run, Natalie Regel went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Neely Wilder was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts and went 4-for-4 with two RBIs.
