As the weather cooperates, spring sports are finally starting in Michigan. Teams in the Jackson area are set to kick off games in baseball, softball, and soccer this week.
In baseball, there are several exciting matchups scheduled including Jackson at Lansing Eastern, Homer at Pennfield, Napoleon at Western, among others. Teams like Lumen Christi, Battle Creek Central, East Jackson, Olivet, and Stockbridge will be facing off against various opponents as well.
Softball games include Homer at Pennfield, Napoleon at Western, East Jackson at Concord, and Stockbridge at Dansville, among others. Teams like Olivet, Addison, and Michigan Center are also set to play their first games of the season.
