The spring sports season has kicked off, but winter sports all-star season is still in full swing at GoErie.com and the Erie Times-News. Over the next few weeks, the publication will be revealing the all-District 10 and region teams from the 2023-24 seasons.
The first sports to be highlighted were girls bowling, with boys swimming and girls swimming to follow. McDowell dominated the Metro League girls bowling all-star team, with six standout bowlers making the cut. In boys swimming, the Times-News announced the 24 athletes who made the 2023-24 District 10 Boys Swimming/Diving All-Star Team, along with the region swimmers/divers of the year and first- and second-team all-stars in three regions. The girls swimming all-star team was also revealed, featuring 24 females selected for the 2023-24 District 10 Girls Swimming/Diving All-Star Team along with the region swimmers/divers of the year and first- and second-team all-stars in three regions.
