Eugene-area athletes are continuing to excel in their respective sports as the high school spring sports season enters its final month. This week’s Register-Guard Athlete of the Week nominees include athletes from various schools and sports who have shown exceptional skills and performances in recent competitions.

Reagan Kumle, a senior softball player from Springfield, had an outstanding game with a double, three RBIs, and a run scored in a 10-3 victory over Ashland. Meanwhile, McKenzie Larsen, a junior tennis player from Churchill, secured two wins at No. 1 singles, defeating opponents from North Eugene and Willamette. Trison Hedges, a senior golfer from Thurston, finished second at the boys 5A Midwestern League District Championships with a two-day score of 162. Aiden Hibler, a freshman baseball player from North Eugene, stood out with four hits, three RBIs, and two runs scored in a series win over Crater.
