Lucasfilm Games and Ubisoft have announced the upcoming launch of their new video game, Star Wars Outlaws. This open-world title in the Star Wars saga will be available to players on August 30, allowing them to immerse themselves in adventures with the cunning hustler Kay Vess.
The game was unveiled in June 2023 during the Xbox Game Showcase event, introducing a story set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Players will have the opportunity to embody Kay Vess and explore unique planets throughout the Galaxy when the game is launched globally on August 30 for Xbox Series X|S consoles, PlayStation 5, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC via Ubisoft Connect.
In Star Wars Outlaws, players will join Kay Vess as he teams up with his partner Nix to gather resources and crew for an ultimate heist. Facing threats from criminal syndicate leader Zerek Besh, Kay will delve into the underworld of the galaxy, dealing with legendary criminal organizations to seek their support and pull off a monumental hit.
The game will feature familiar characters such as Jabba the Hutt and iconic locations like Canto Cight, Kijimi, Tatooine, and Akiva. Players can explore vast landscapes, engage in aerial combat, and pilot the Trailblazer ship through uncharted space.
Early access to the game will be available to Ubisoft+ subscribers and purchasers of the Gold or Ultimate editions, with a bonus pack offered to those who reserve the game before August 30. Different editions of the game will be priced accordingly
