Stock Exchange in Helsinki Decides to Drop on Friday

On Friday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange experienced a decline, with the OMXH general index falling by 0.2 percent to 9,903.21 points. The most notable gainer was Nightingale Health, a blood analysis company, which saw a significant increase of 28.4% after announcing an agreement with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan in the United States. The agreement involved analyzing 50,000 blood samples and is expected to have a positive impact on turnover and profit in the following fiscal period.

Among the most traded shares, there were increases in Nordea (+0.8%), Kone (1.1%), and Fortum (+0.8%), while decreases were seen in UPM (-1.7%), Nokia (-0.7%), and Stora Enso (-1.6%). One notable change was Enersense International’s hydrogen-focused associate company, P2X Solutions, seeing a shift in ownership to Alpiq, a Swiss energy company with a significant investment of around 47 million euros.
