Calcium-rich foods like nuts, beans, dark green vegetables, and milk should also be included in one’s daily diet to bind oxalate in the intestinal tract and reduce its absorption into the blood.

Foods high in oxalates like spinach, beets, chocolate, and cereals should be limited as an excess of oxalate can contribute to kidney stone formation.
