Ellie Williams, 21, was having lunch with her friends in the food court when she saw people running away screaming. She described the confusion and panic as people reported that someone was stabbing others with a knife downstairs. Williams saw a man in a hoodie chasing people with a knife and heard gunshots as she left the area through an emergency exit.

Chaos ensued as they tried to figure out what was happening and where to go. The situation escalated as more people ran and gunshots were heard. The couple was shocked by the events unfolding in the mall.

Roi Huberman, a sound engineer, recounted how he heard gunshots while in a store and was told to go back inside and lock the door for safety. He eventually found a way to exit the mall through the back. At least five people died in the attack, with many others in critical condition. The suspect was shot by police and confirmed dead. The scene was chaotic, with multiple emergency vehicles and police cars present.
