Taylor Swift’s latest album, “thanK you aIMee,” has sparked a feud with Kim Kardashian. The track from the album that reignited the drama is titled “I Knew You Were Trouble When You First Saw Me.”
The lyrics of the song appear to be directed at Kardashian, with the capitalized letters spelling out K-I-M. Swift sings about feeling betrayed and describes a tumultuous relationship with someone who has made her feel wronged.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for a response from Kim Kardashian, but in her first public appearance since the album’s release, she appeared unbothered by the drama. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she simply stated that “life is good” when asked about it.
The feud between Swift and Kardashian dates back to 2016 when Kardashian shared a recording of Swift appearing to approve controversial lyrics in Kanye West’s song “Famous.” Swift maintains that she never apologized for her role in the situation.
Despite Swift’s call-out in the song, it seems that this chapter of their feud may have come to a close for now as Kim chose not to engage in further conflict.
