The 2024 World Men’s Curling Championship is set to be held at the KSS Sports Complex in Schaffhausen, Switzerland from 30 March to 7 April 2024. As defending champions, Scotland, led by skip Bruce Mouat, will enter the tournament with a tough competition from teams like Sweden, Canada, and Italy.
The tournament kicks off with a round-robin event where all 13 participating teams will play each other once. The top six teams at the end of this stage will advance to the next round, with the top two teams securing spots in the semi-finals. The remaining four teams will compete in a play-off for the remaining two semi-final berths.
The losers of the semi-finals will battle for the bronze medal while the winners will compete for the gold on 7 April. The 13 nations competing in the championship are Canada, Czechia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland and United States.
