WWE partners with Indiana Sports Corp. to bring Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania to Indianapolis

Indianapolis is set to host WWE’s three largest stadium events, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania, in a partnership between the city’s Indiana Sports Corp. and WWE, which is part of TKO Group Holdings. The first event, Royal Rumble, will take place on February 1st, 2025 at Lucas Oil Stadium. In the following years, two-night SummerSlam and two-night WrestleMania will also be held at the same stadium.

The partnership between Indiana Sports Corp. and WWE has a combined economic impact of over $300 million. It includes not only major events but also WWE television shows such as Raw, Smackdown, and NXT as well as live events in cities like Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Evansville throughout the duration of the partnership.

President of Indiana Sports Corp., Patrick Talty expressed excitement about this collaboration with WWE stating that it aligns with the city’s sports strategy of bringing visitors and media coverage to Indianapolis. The sports corporation was established in 1979 and has a history of hosting over 500 national and international sporting events including Super Bowl XLVI and College Football Playoff National Championship. These events have resulted in more than $4 billion in direct spending in the community overall.
