The Rising Young Billionaires: How Inheritance Has Fueled Their Wealth

The Top 15 Youngest Billionaires Across the Globe

The 15 youngest billionaires in the world, according to Forbes’ list this year, are all under 30 years old, with the exception of Gustav Magnar Witzoe. These billionaires have amassed their wealth primarily through inheritance from their families.

Gustav Magnar Witzoe, a 30-year-old Norwegian, inherited half of the world’s second-largest salmon farming company, SalMar, at the age of 19. While his father continued to run the company, Gustav focused on real estate investments and technology startups. SalMar exports salmon products to over 50 countries, and Gustav has become one of the wealthiest individuals in Norway.

Katharina Andresen and Alexandra Andresen, Norwegian sisters, have accrued wealth through their family’s investments in real estate and private companies. Firoz Mistry and Zahan Mistry, Irish brothers, inherited shares in a major Indian conglomerate after a series of family tragedies.
