The Rock Trolls Eagles Fans at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson taunts Philadelphia Eagles fans and Jalen Hurts at WWE World in anticipation of WrestleMania 40

WrestleMania 40 is happening in Philadelphia this weekend, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wasted no time in starting the trolling. As he arrived at WWE World at the Pennsylvania Convention Center nearly two hours late, boos echoed through the crowd. In response, The Rock sarcastically asked if they were booing because of his tardiness.

Philadelphia Eagles fans may not appreciate The Rock’s comments as he stated that he was watching Jalen Hurts lose in the playoffs again. Despite making a Super Bowl appearance the previous year, the Eagles and Hurts fell short in the NFL playoffs this season, losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round. WrestleMania events began with WWE World at the Convention Center, featuring discussions with WWE stars, gaming tournaments, live podcast recordings, and opportunities to meet WWE wrestlers.

CBS Philadelphia has all the details about events happening in Philadelphia this weekend for those interested in WrestleMania. Additionally, Lil Wayne will be making an appearance to debut a new single.
