Kris Kim, an English teenager, has made a splash in the golfing world by setting records and impressing with his play. At just 16 years old and an amateur, he became the youngest player to make the cut on tour in nine years during his PGA Tour debut. He also broke Jordan Spieth’s record as the youngest ever at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, surpassing Spieth’s previous record set in 2010.
Kim’s mother, Ji-Hyun Suh, introduced him to golf at a young age and now coaches his swing. He has had a successful amateur career, winning numerous championships. Despite feeling nervous on the 18th hole, Kim managed to sink a birdie putt to secure his spot in the cut.
