During a Russian attack, missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles were launched. Despite the efforts of the Ukrainian Air Force to shoot down most of them, at least nine people, including three children, were killed in missile strikes in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Some of the strikes hit the Dnipro railway station, injuring several workers.

The governor of the Stavropol region stated that all crew members except one were able to eject from the plane, with one fatality and two crew members evacuated to the hospital. A search is ongoing for the fourth crew member.
