Tri-State Enterprise and Lawn Care Destroyed in Flatwoods Fire, No Injuries Reported

Neighboring properties suffer damage following fire at local business

On Tuesday, a fire in Flatwoods, Ky., caused destruction to parts of Tri-State Enterprise and Lawn Care near Argillite Road. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident as everyone inside the building was able to evacuate safely.

Jake Styes, a resident living nearby, expressed relief that his family and neighbors were unharmed. He stated that he was at school when the fire broke out and only saw the smoke from a distance. Upon returning home to see the aftermath of the fire, he felt a mix of fear and relief.

Styes thanked the first responders for their quick actions in preventing further damage and ensuring the safety of the neighborhood. The Flatwoods Fire Chief stated that investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire, but it is believed to be accidental.

The community is grateful that everyone made it out safely and that the situation was brought under control swiftly. Styes expressed gratitude to the firefighters who helped save his home and his neighbors’ homes.
