McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon, and McLeod Health Dillon have all been awarded an “A” Hospital Safety Grade by the Leapfrog Group. This national nonprofit organization evaluates hospitals based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries, infections, and the preventive systems in place. The grade recognizes the hospitals’ efforts in prioritizing patient safety and preventing harm and errors through various measures.
Dr. Caetie Rabon, Rural Regional Chief Medical Officer for McLeod Health, expressed gratitude for the recognition and attributed it to the hard work and dedication of the hospital teams. Rachel Gainey, CEO of McLeod Health Clarendon, also highlighted the unwavering dedication of the staff in upholding the highest safety and quality standards.
