Tucson, Arizona-based Pima Community College is hosting a career fair and open house for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the aviation industry. The hiring fair will be held on Tuesday, March 26th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Aviation Technology Center located near Valencia Rd. and Park Ave.
As Faculty instructor Chris Barnett notes, there is currently a high demand for workers in the aviation industry due to many individuals retiring before and during COVID, creating a significant gap in the workforce. This has resulted in an expected persistent demand for skilled workers in the aviation field for the foreseeable future.
Attendees at the career fair will have the opportunity to meet with local and national aviation employers, interact with Pima’s top instructors and students, and take a tour of the hangar. Those interested can also learn more about Pima’s Aviation Technology Program and how it can help them achieve their career goals in this exciting industry.
