Uniting for Mental Health: Colts, Swimmers and Indiana Sports Corp Join Forces to Raise Awareness

Irsay announces Colts will kick off Mental Health Awareness Month

The Indianapolis Colts, USA Swimming, and Indiana Sports Corp have partnered to host the “Under The Surface” event at the Colts headquarters. The event was attended by 150 local high school students who are part of Bring Change to Mind (BC2M), a national organization that aims to end the stigma around mental illnesses. During the event, students participated in an activity fair and a panel discussion on the connection between mental health and sports, featuring special guests such as Olympic gold medalist Lilly King, U.S. swimmer Ashley Twichell, Colts player Kenny Moore II, and Colts Vice Chair & Owner Kalen Jackson.

In addition to the “Under The Surface” event, fans can also purchase Kicking The Stigma gear at the Colts Pro Shop located at Lucas Oil Stadium. Items include a “Not All Pain Can Be Seen” hoodie, “I Am Stronger than My Darkest Days” tee, wristbands, pins, and tumblers. Proceeds from sales go towards Kicking The Stigma Action Grants. The shop is open Tuesday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with online purchases available at Shop
