KTAR and ABC15 Arizona collaborate on roundtable discussion regarding teen violence and mental health in the Valley.

ABC15 and KTAR News are hosting a roundtable discussion on mental health and behavioral challenges among Valley teens and young adults. This event comes in response to the increased coverage of teen violence and bullying in the East Valley over recent months. The two-hour roundtable will feature KTAR’s The Chris and Joe Show, as well as ABC15’s Melissa Blasius, Ashley Holden, and Nicole Grigg.

The first hour of the roundtable will focus on teen violence over the past several years, which has gained more attention following the tragic death of Preston Lord. If you have questions or topics you would like the roundtable members to address regarding teen violence and mental health, you can email them at teenviolence@abc15.com before the event starts.

In the second hour of the roundtable, the discussion will shift to discussing the primary issues impacting youth today, including mental health, bullying, and social media threats. The discussion will also explore how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected teens and their ability to navigate external stressors.

You can tune in to watch the roundtable from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday on your Roku or other streaming devices by downloading the ABC15 app on your device or streaming it directly from ABC15.com or YouTube page or mobile app for free.
