The University of Utah’s 155th general commencement is set for Thursday, May 2, with a total of 118 current or former student-athletes set to receive their degrees. This event will recognize graduates from Fall 2023, as well as Spring and Summer 2024, who have earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Utah’s student-athletes have consistently maintained a high graduation rate, with a 94% figure in the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah has achieved a graduation rate of 93% or higher, ranking second in the Pac-12 conference behind Stanford.
During the ceremony, students from various sports programs at Utah will be recognized, including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country, track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis
