Vect-Horus Takes Centre Stage at Viva Technology Conference: Innovative Approaches to Targeting Drug Delivery for Glioblastoma and Pancreatic Cancer

Vect-Horus set to participate in a roundtable discussion at Viva Technology Conference

Based in Marseille, France, Vect-Horus is a biotechnology company that specializes in designing molecular vectors to facilitate targeted delivery of therapeutic molecules and imaging agents. Recently, the company announced its participation in the Viva Technology conference taking place in Paris from May 22-25, 2024.

Vect-Horus has been selected by France’s National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) as one of the 10 startups showcasing disruptive technologies at the event. During the conference, Vect-Horus will present its VECTrans® technology, which is an innovative approach to drug targeting to the brain and other pathological tissues such as cancer.

At the conference, Jean-Manuel Pean, Chief Scientific Officer at Vect-Horus, will participate in a roundtable discussion to provide an overview of the company’s pipeline, recent advancements in its technology, progress made in optimizing VECTrans® technology for early clinical trials of theragnostic agents for glioblastoma and pancreatic cancer, and updates on partnerships with companies like Novo Nordisk and Ionis Pharmaceuticals.

Founded in 2005 as a spin-off of INP (Institute for Neurophysiopathology), UMR7051 (National University of Marseille), CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), and Aix Marseille University (Aix University), Vect-Horus focuses on developing vectors for targeting and delivering therapeutic and imaging agents to organs and tumors. The company employs 38 individuals, primarily researchers and developers.
