The World Beer Cup, an international competition that celebrates the best beers from around the world, took place in Las Vegas on Tuesday night. After a stiff competition among 65 other breweries worldwide, Exile Brewery Co. in Des Moines, Iowa emerged victorious with a silver medal for its Munich-style dunkel, G.G. Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant in Topeka, Kansas won the gold for its Munich Dunkles while Sturdy Shelter Brewing in Batavia, Illinois received a bronze for its Wilson Street Dunkel.
The event attracted 290 judges from 37 countries who evaluated 9,300 beers from 2,060 breweries representing 50 countries. The World Beer Cup is widely regarded as one of the largest and most prestigious beer competitions globally and showcases not only the best beers but also highlights the skill and dedication of brewers worldwide.
