New WPS report focuses on enhancing mental health

In 2023, WPS Health Solutions released its Corporate Social Responsibility Report titled “Mental Health is Health”. The report highlights the company’s commitment to promoting good mental health and provides an overview of how different lines of business within WPS Health Solutions supported mental health initiatives.

WPS Health Solutions took several steps in 2023 to raise awareness, fund programs, reduce stigmas, and improve access to mental health care. One of the significant achievements was adding 20% more mental health care providers to its networks, resulting in reduced wait times from weeks to hours.

WPS President and CEO Wendy Perkins expressed her pride in the company’s efforts to address the mental health needs of beneficiaries, insured individuals, and employees. Perkins emphasized that mental health care is a crucial component of overall healthcare and highlighted the progress made by company leaders in finding tangible solutions to these issues.
