Young, Rich, and Not Yet Out of School: The Newest Billionaires on Forbes’ List are Changing the Game in Business.

At just 19 years old, Livia Voigt becomes the youngest billionaire in the world with a staggering net worth…

This year’s Forbes Billionaires List is dominated by young individuals, with the 25 youngest billionaires all aged 33 or younger, collectively holding $110 billion. One of these young billionaires is Livia Voigt, a 19-year-old Brazilian student who has claimed the title of the world’s youngest billionaire. She has surpassed Clement Del Vecchio, heir to EssilorLuxottica, who is only two months older than her.

Livia Voigt’s wealth comes from being one of the largest individual shareholders of WEG, the largest manufacturer of electrical motors in Latin America. The company was co-founded by her grandfather Werner Ricardo Voigt, along with late billionaires Eggon Joao da Silva and Geraldo Werninghaus. Despite her billionaire status, Livia Voigt is currently studying at a university in Brazil and does not hold a seat on the board or an executive position at WEG yet. Her net worth is valued at $1.1 billion.

Another young heir who has recently joined the billionaire ranks is Dora Voigt de Assis, Livia’s older sister aged 26. Dora earned her architecture degree in 2020 and together with Livia they are part of the WEG legacy, a multinational corporation with factories in over 10 countries that recorded revenues of approximately $6 billion in 2022.

Other young heirs who have recently joined the billionaire ranks include Ireland’s Mistry brothers, aged 25 and 27, who inherited sizable fortunes from Tata Sons
