2023 Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards Announces Girls Wrestler of the Year Nominees: Meet the Stars

Nominees for girls wrestlers revealed by Northeast Wisconsin Sports Awards

The Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards is thrilled to reveal the nominees for the girls wrestler of the year award. This prestigious title will be presented during the live show on June 13 at 7 p.m. at Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay. In addition, a celebrity guest will be announced soon.

The event, which is presented by Festival Foods and supported by Cellcom, will recognize nominees across 26 other sports as well as athletes of the year in each sport. All nominated athletes who RSVP will receive a free ticket to attend, thanks to the sponsors. Additional tickets can be obtained by following details that will be shared soon. As part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards program, which is the largest high school sports recognition program in the country, this show honors prep athletes, coaches and teams for their achievements during the 2023-24 school year in various markets.

The nominees for girls wrestling include: Lillie Banks from Menasha High School (Sophomore), Angie Bianchi from Two Rivers High School (Sophomore), Brooke Corrigan from De Pere High School (Junior), Savannah Danielson from Wausau West High School (Senior), Alivia Davey from Berlin High School (Senior), Ava Gardner from Marshfield High School (Junior), Brooke Huffman from Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School (Freshman), Hailie Krueger from New London High School (Junior), Kara Kuge from Lomira High School (Senior), Emjay Neumann from Manitowoc Lincoln High School (Sophomore), Harlow Skenandore from Pulaski High School (Freshman) and Taylor Whiting from Lena High School (Sophomore).
