Colin White, a standout from Ottawa-Glandorf, has been named Ohio’s 2024 Mr. Basketball by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. He is part of the prestigious history of the award and showed knowledge of former winners when asked.

In New Richmond, Wyoming East state champions Maddie Clark and Cadee Blackburn formed a strong bond while playing together. Scott was named LKC Coach of the Year for the second year in a row, while junior Parker stood out as a key player for the team.

Marietta College secured a 9-6 victory over Wittenberg University with three runs in the eighth inning at Pioneer Park. The Pioneers improved to 7-8 on the season, while Wittenberg fell to 6-8 overall. Bradley Jones had a crucial pinch-hit single to spark their rally in the eighth inning.

Waterford faced off against top-ranked Fort Loramie in the Division IV state championship game at University of Dayton Arena. Despite not being at full strength, the Wildcats put up a strong fight with a state crown on the line
