Buffalo-Based Aille Design: Finalist in National Small Business Contest with Braille Fashion Innovations

Buffalo Clothing Company Selected as Finalist in Small Business Contest for Chance to Win $60,000 Prize

In Buffalo, a local accessible clothing company, Aille Design, has been named a finalist in a national small business contest with a $60,000 grand prize at stake. The company specializes in creating clothing that incorporates words in braille using beadwork and collaborates with the blind and visually impaired communities to design their unique pieces.

If Aille Design wins the contest, it will be the second Buffalo business to achieve this honor, after Frank Gourmet won in 2020. The company is now seeking support from the Western New York community to help them win the top spot among the 10 finalists in the competition run by Barclays to recognize the country’s top small businesses.
