Man facing allegations of making death threats to business partners and employees

In San Antonio, a businessman named Jorge Gorrzegz-Flores has been released on bond after being arrested and charged with making threats to kill his business partners and doctors at a local doctor’s office. According to an arrest affidavit, Gorrzegz-Flores had a falling out with his business partners in 2019 which led to litigation. During this time, he purchased multiple firearms and a suppressor, and received training in tactical shooting.

Gorrzegz-Flores allegedly made threats to his business partners and three doctors associated with San Antonio Eye Center at 800 McCullough Ave. A witness reported that he threatened her and another partner, demanding they work harder and conduct more research. Initially, his business partners thought his threats were a form of manipulation, but he took more serious actions by hiring a private investigator to obtain their home addresses.

Concerned by the threats made by Gorrzegz-Flores, the doctor’s office had to increase security at both their location and the residence of one of the business partners. Court records from Bexar County reveal that Gorrzegz-Flores had prior arrests on charges including family violence, injury to a child, and assault on a peace officer/judge. The bail set for Gorrzegz-Flores was $150,000.
