To commemorate Women’s Health Month, the Community Action Agency of Columbiana County’s Health Centers are hosting a gift basket drawing at five locations in the county. The event is open to all residents and encourages existing and new patients to schedule appointments for essential healthcare services such as primary care, physicals, gynecological care, prenatal care, family planning, and blood testing.
The CAACC Health Centers have a team of professionals including Dr. Kristi Johnson, OB-GYN; Mallory Smith, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner; Carlie Zimmermann, CMA; Norita Price, LPN; and Linda Devore, LPN who are preparing for the event. The CAACC Health Centers are located at various locations in Lisbon, East Liverpool, Salem, and Salineville. They offer essential healthcare services that are federally-qualified and open to all county residents regardless of their ability to pay. They accept Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurances and offer a sliding fee scale based on family income for uninsured patients.
During Women’s Health Month, any woman who visits the CAACC Health Centers as a patient between May 13th and the end of the month will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a Women’s Health gift basket filled with items related to women’s health such as self-care products and gift certificates from local businesses. It is an excellent chance for women in the county to receive essential healthcare services while having fun with friends or family members.
