Captain America: Brave New World Exclusive Clip Shown at CinemaCon with Harrison Ford Urging Anthony Mackie to Reassemble the Avengers

At Disney’s CinemaCon 2024, attendees were given a sneak peek of the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World. The footage featured Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross asking Anthony Mackie’s Captain America to rebuild the Avengers. The scene began at the White House in Washington, D.C., with President Thunderbolt Ross enjoying a lollipop and showcasing his new look, sans mustache. Mackie and Kevin Feige introduced the footage to the crowd.

One of the key moments in the footage involved President Ross tasking Sam Wilson with rebuilding the Avengers following the events of Endgame. The discovery of the stolen Millennium from a Japanese mining site was also discussed, with Cap and JoaquĆn Torres successfully retrieving it. However, chaos erupted as Isaiah Bradley and another agent were triggered by a high-pitched sound, leading to a violent confrontation.

Captain America: Brave New World is set for release in cinemas on February 14th, 2025, promising to delve into what it means to be Captain America and explore Wilson’s journey as the new Cap. Liv Tyler will make a return as Betty Ross, alongside Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/The Leader, introducing a new Hulk villain to the mix.

Other highlights from CinemaCon 2024 included glimpses of Gladiator 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3. For more updates and news, stay tuned to IGN.
