Celebrating 30 Years: World Emblem, the Leading Patch and Embroidery Manufacturer

Houston-based World Emblem commemorates its 30th anniversary in business

World Emblem, the world’s largest patch and emblem manufacturer, is celebrating 30 years in business. Over the past three decades, the family-owned company has grown to have nine locations across the world and employs over 1,000 people.

Located in northwest Houston, World Emblem first started as a small shop in New Jersey in 1993. The company produces an average of 250 million emblems and custom products a year and is known for its unique feature of having no minimum quantity requirement for orders. Whether you need one garment embroidered or 10,000 garments, they can accommodate your needs.

Some of World Emblem’s big clients include the NFL, Levi’s, New Era, and Perry Ellis. Chief Operating Officer Jim Kozel highlighted the customized nature of their work, saying, “It’s all customized and it’s amazing. You’ll be walking through there, and you’ll see some of the biggest name brands that we’re stitching out.”

Recently, ABC13’s Localish team visited World Emblem for a behind-the-scenes tour to see what goes into producing thousands of custom patches every day. If you’re interested in learning more about World Emblem
