DCD>Connect Madrid aims to expand by 20% in upcoming May 21-22 edition

The DCD>Connect Madrid 2024 event is expecting a 20 percent global growth for its 17th edition, with over 1,400 executives from 40 countries attending. This makes it the most significant gathering in the IT industry. Taking place on May 21 and 22 at the Eurostars Tower hotel in Madrid, the event will focus on the Nordic countries as pioneers in environmental sustainability in data center construction and operation. Additionally, this year, the Valencian Community will be the invited region due to its potential for digital infrastructure growth.

The goal of DCD>Connect Madrid 2024 is to bring together public and private sector stakeholders to analyze and debate critical issues in the industry. These topics include regulations for data centers, energy access, global demand response, and the role of associations in sector development. The event expects participation from over 1,400 executives from 40 countries, hosting about 70 sessions, including round tables, presentations, and debates with over 140 speakers representing leading data center companies, public entities, investment funds, and associations.

This growth of 20 percent solidifies DCD>Connect Madrid as a crucial event in the data center sector in southern Europe.
