The beauty of nature was a source of inspiration for our fifth annual outdoor living design competition. We are thrilled to announce the winners, each of whom has created serene and inviting landscapes that seamlessly blend home and garden.
From Southern California to the English countryside, our winning designs feature whimsical art pieces, reflecting pools, and restored rose beds. Interior designer Bunny Williams and Institute of Classical Architecture & Art president Peter Lyden returned as judges for the competition, carefully selecting the top 22 entries from which they chose our 2024 World’s Most Beautiful Gardens.
We invite you to explore four unique oases with us: Michael P.H. Clifford’s tropical poolside design in Los Angeles, California; Neil Landino’s modern reflection of the landscape in Bridgehampton, New York; Gabriela Yariv’s romantic restoration of a neglected garden in San Gabriel Valley, California; and Marianne Majerus’s wild tribute to the countryside in Dorset, England.
Our methodology involved blind judging by Williams and Lyden, with the top 22 entries chosen by VERANDA editors. The call for entries for 2025’s World’s Most Beautiful Gardens is now open, with details available on our website.
