Disney, Warner Bros. Unveil Exciting New Streaming Bundle with Disney+, Hulu, and Max

New Streaming Bundle Package Revealed by Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery

Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery have joined forces to unveil a new streaming bundle that will feature Disney+, Hulu, and Max. This exciting new service will be available to viewers this summer.

The companies made the announcement in a press release on Wednesday, with the streaming bundle mirroring traditional cable packages but with a modern digital twist. By combining brands such as ABC, FX, Food Network, Marvel, HGTV, and CNN, the subscription service promises to provide subscribers with access to a diverse range of content under one roof.

Joe Earley, president of direct-to-consumer at Disney Entertainment, expressed excitement about the partnership and emphasized that subscribers will have access to blockbuster films, original content, and an extensive library of entertainment options through this new bundle. The streaming bundle will offer both ad-supported and ad-free plans when it launches later this summer.

Disney already offers several bundle packages for streamers, including the Disney Bundle Trio Basic plan that includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ with ads for $14.99 per month. The pricing for the new streaming package will vary based on the plan viewers choose. Since acquiring a majority stake in Hulu in 2019, Disney has worked to integrate the streaming service into its broader entertainment portfolio and eventually took full control of Hulu in November 2023.

During an earnings report earlier this year, Disney highlighted its streaming app’s performance and projected that Disney+ would turn a profit for the first time in Q4. Streaming losses had decreased from $659 million to just $18 million compared to the previous year
